Thanks for the feedback. Do you mean the side windows in the children's room or the light strips? If you mean the side ones, I had also thought about that. I completely agree with you that smaller ones would have done the job. But then the windows below somehow looked stupid again. It’s a vicious circle ;(

Well, a matter of taste.... I find symmetry important and am totally crazy about it, but I think if all bedrooms and the bathroom upstairs get the floor-to-ceiling windows narrower and these align flush with the lower window on the exterior wall, then it should look good too...

Thanks Kisska for the comment about the window. I tried to draw it yesterday, but making it look nice is another matter. Mm. I agree with you that smaller ones would also work, but visually I don’t find it as nice then. You also have the 1.51m wide windows in the living room. Are you satisfied with their size? We have planned the same ones for our living/dining area, and I find the size sufficient, right? The architect initially planned 1.75m, but then the top ones were also 1.75m, and I thought that was too much.

No, the 151 cm is more than enough. And two curtain panels fit reasonably well there, which you can easily draw if needed, and they don’t look so puny either.

HeHe thanks, I don't really know what [Gardinenschals] are, but my wife definitely does. I always have trouble estimating sizes (window sizes etc.) correctly and always think everything is too small. I always run around our apartment with a measuring tape and measure everything so that I get a feeling for how big it will be.

So I find our 1.5m wide windows huge... We have three of them in the living room and it is very spacious and nice... We also don't have curtain panels there...
