- ok I will give it a try. I would actually think that leaving it out would make the exterior look stranger again. But I will try it, thanks for the hint

- Room 1 and Room 2 are planned as guest room and study. Another idea is to use the whole thing later as a small apartment, separated from the staircase. Either in case our income suddenly stops or we take in the parents-in-law. But that is wishful thinking for the future and only applies in case of emergency.
We have planned a 2m lintel between Room 1 and Room 2 (not visible in the drawing), so there is an option to create a larger room.

Attached are our revised views again. I would have liked our house front to be a bit more symmetrical, but unfortunately, that is not possible. For example, if you move the left window front further to the left, then you have less space for the sofa and you couldn't go out of the terrace door as nicely. I think it looks a bit asymmetrical now... or do you think I am being too narrow-minded? What else do you think about the views?

No one has an opinion or whether my concerns about the front view are just imagination

So I think it looks pretty good this way, the asymmetry doesn't bother me either. The windows are aligned in a row.

Hey, thanks for your feedback. I think sometimes you drive yourself crazy. I would have liked the patio door to be wider at the front; we once had it at 2.75 m, but then extending the window above it equally doesn't make sense, so it looks visually the same. Therefore, now 2 m patio door + 2 m top light strip. As a lead, one could still consider making the patio door 2.20 m and keeping the light strip at 2 m. I think you won't immediately notice the 10 cm on each side. On the other hand, the question is what would a 20 cm larger patio door bring me? Oh man, this is all so complicated....

I think it looks good. And the 20cm don’t bring you anything... This way you have lower costs and are more flexible with the furnishing... But the windows in the children's rooms are really unnecessarily wide when it comes to furnishing.
