That is exactly the meter that makes the difference ;)

Ah ok thanks for the link....so that means at least a width of 4 m should be available in the dining room, otherwise it will be too tight. How about the hallway, is a width of 2 sufficient?

2.8 sufficient without sideboard - however not if there are [Wanderwege] passing by.

2 meters width should be sufficient.
However, the initial approach would be to relocate the entrance and corridor doors so that on the left side along the entire length of the corridor there is space for a large wardrobe cabinet with a depth of 60 cm. Placing something on the left and right, as drawn, would be too little for a family of four and you would end up with a funnel or tube-like space. Furthermore: 1 x 60 cm depth, 1 x 40 cm depth (dresser and cabinet) takes up one meter, minus plaster and baseboards leaves you with 95 cm passage in the corridor... -> relocating the doors would be advisable.
The same applies to the kitchen: move the hallway/kitchen door so that a kitchen unit fits behind it. Move the dining/kitchen door to the front area so you get an L-shape along the exterior wall with workspace at the window. What is currently drawn will be unsatisfactory.
Alternatively, position the two kitchen doors at a corner so that optimal space along the walls remains, since you want to have a small table there as well.
Niche in the WC… nicely thought out, but where will the laundry basket go? Is it possible that the guest WC might get a bit dusty or fuzzy so that you have to clean the WC every time before an unexpected guest arrival?
I would also work with a window band there if it fits the style of the house, also continuing to the utility room.
I would also be interested in the elevations.
What is not so nice is that there is no living area facing south or west. For me that’s a no-go... but you have probably thought that through?! :)

Regards, Yvonne

P.S. with 5.70 m width on the upper floor you’ll have to juggle a bit with the idea from ;)

4m width when eating, if there is terrace access on one side and a cupboard is to be placed on the other side. 3m are sufficient if this is not the case

Good evening,

Honest answer: No. From an architect I expect more than colorful drafts ;)

No, to the entire width of the two-story building; so internal measure 5.90 m minus interior plaster according to your architect's definition. Btw. – which brick did he take into account, or what do the 35 cm exterior walls stand for?

I have seen better designed semi-detached houses with comparable external dimensions. Sorry ;)

Rhenish regards
