Somehow the roof shape looks familiar to me. Overall the entire volume. Can you tell me what is supposed to be in the ground floor hallway between the guest WC and the door to the garage? The cloakroom? I find the dressing room with 2.10 quite narrow; minus the interior plaster, there are 2.04 to 2.05 left. We have a raw construction dimension of 2.26 and 60cm cabinets with doors, and we would have liked 10 cm more... We also have 2 doors in the bathroom, although we have a separate children's bathroom on the upper floor. I would also reconsider the air space. As great as they are... I might prefer a separate parents' wing for that. The thief built something unusual with a general contractor. In the case of , I assume individual awarding since an architect is planning.

I personally find the airspace above the dining area better than above the living room - I prefer it cozier in the latter.

But for you, it takes up too much space - I would do without it and rather treat myself to a children's bathroom or enlarge the master bathroom.

Otherwise clearly better - I will not point out again the things (too small guest WC) that have already been mentioned before me.

Just one thing: the kitchen island as it is planned now, are you serious? Totally impractical! Not to mention the too small passages: how is such a kitchen island supposed to be kept clean? If I estimate correctly, it is 150x150, right? How tall is the esteemed lady? Does she have such a reach that she can still clean the middle of that thing? I am 168cm tall and that will be borderline for me.

I like the office for four: Two cuddle and watch the other two work

But he didn’t implement my suggestion of the flat roof with glass prism above the corridor at all.

From a crosspost? – not to me so far…

I quote myself: "Try searching on Aunt Google for the following "Haus (kfw55) an den obstgärten". The roof shape was chosen there because the development plan did not allow a flat roof either."

Thank you very much for the answers, we will certainly optimize here and there. (Gäste-WC,Ankleide,Küchenblock..)

We will very likely leave the air space. In the end, it could still be bricked up with an interior window. Meanwhile, there are also soundproof doors and the living room is somewhat around the corner.

A house will never fit 100% for every phase of life. But we think that we (= plural) will have a nice one.

The plans are from the architect and are to be implemented by a general contractor/developer.
Regarding the roof. We are not the first with such an idea
