I'm not a zoning plan expert but if the "Häubchen" gets approved (that would then be a shed roof) I don't understand why all of Germany is complaining about picky building authorities

Taste is a very individual thing... I think most architects would refuse to draw something like that
I wouldn't like it at all. If at all, I would extend this shed roof across the entire width. Then you'd have a shed roof/flat roof combination and it would probably comply with the regulations better without completely ruining the cubist style.

Regarding the floor plans... I only glanced at them briefly. At a quick glance I noticed that the dimensions of the dressing room and bathroom are a disaster. Dressing room is 1.60? Raw structural measurement? 60 cm closet, 30 cm shelf? 70 cm width in between? Possibly even less after plaster etc.?

Same in the bathroom. You don’t like being in the bathroom? Narrow corridor with two doors. Calculate how much distance there is between the washbasin and the shower. Sure, everyone has different needs and priorities but if someone builds like this I would expect a different bathroom. This one has more the charm of a wet cell.

The ground floor looks pretty good at first glance. I find the location of the stairs a bit off but that has already been mentioned.

I also find the small gable roof more than strange. Even if it actually gets approved by the authorities, it is still ugly. Sorry, I can't find another word for it. I would have been glad if I could have realized a staggered shed roof. That was my wish for our house, but only gable roofs were allowed. I would also have quite a few ideas about the floor plan. I'll write that later.

The roof reminds me of the house discussed here recently. For 2 people, mega gallery and everything else also super big, but a totally botched building mass.

The planners and builders get blinkered when it comes to cutting corners for aesthetic reasons against the development plan, but they don't see how they mess up the house.

And without improvements to the bathroom and dressing room, there is no point in continuing with the floor plan either.

Yes, it is. I would never have such a "cap" put on the roof. I also don't think something like that would be approved.

One can only hope.

Sorry, but I think you have gotten a bit carried away with the desire for a flat roof...
