I meant, if the numbers you mentioned are correct, you cannot build an upper floor as a full floor, but only with many roof slopes. If you have the numbers reversed, it is possible.

Furthermore, the location of the staircase on the upper floor does not match that on the ground floor. It would move further towards the top of the plan, then the door in the room at the top left of the plan must be relocated. Not a disaster. The doors seem to be too narrow. The bathroom is a bit of a small disaster - just relocate the door. The design is already a big waste of space - if two children move in as well, I hardly see any privacy or enough storage space.

So my dear ones, after I received the note about the questionnaire, I filled it out as much as possible and am now copying it in.

We cook a lot, so this area is relatively large. Kitchen island is about 3.30 m.
No guest room needed downstairs, as visitors can sleep upstairs. Mi Casa su Casa. In the playroom. And since we mostly hang out together anyway and individual family members are consciously or unconsciously present.

- Do-it-Yourself

What do you especially like? Why?

The open design, large kitchen

What do you not like? Why?

Tight floor area

Price estimate according to architect/planner:

Personal price limit for the house, incl. equipment: 280k plus additional costs

Preferred heating technology: gas

If you have to do without, which details/extensions

- can you do without: guest room

- cannot do without:

What is the most important/fundamental question about the floor plan summarized in 130 characters?

What do you basically think, what should I not do without. I don’t have a pantry because I have a lot of kitchen.
Thanks again to everyone.

No, the asymmetries are not intended, as it should be a classic construction and symmetry is a must. The passages between the kitchen island and the pantry cabinets should be about 105 cm finished dimensions. We don't want to lose too much movement space, even though bigger is better. The exterior wall should be 31.5 as mentioned due to the floor area.

The staircase will be a folding truss staircase (if the budget allows).

Athletically, it is 82 or 78... how do you arrive at 31.5 wall thickness?

Regarding the requirements (flat roof, garage) in combination with the budget, I believe the folding staircase is the smallest problem. The wall thicknesses don't fit. Where is the storage space for 4 people supposed to come from? Washing machine in the HAR downstairs?
