congratulations! settle in well. nice to see that old elements were also restored and retained.
Yes, we were able to use the old plank floor on about 2/3 of the area, and we also kept 2/3 of the old doors including frames. On the ground floor this was not possible with the floor for various reasons, but we are now also happy to have a new one there. We also restored the stairs, but after the glue and old varnish were removed, it turned out that it consists of 3 different types of wood: ground floor->first floor steps oak, first floor->attic steps beech, landings pine. Looks a little funny :)
Otherwise, almost everything is new.
Great project, really nice result :)
We currently have the same project and are just at the beginning. Do you have a detailed cost breakdown of the individual trades? Or a price for the complete renovation?
Best regards
Thanks! Without subsidies excluding kitchen (20k), terrace (12k) and photovoltaic (12kWp without storage, 17k) we are at almost exactly 2k€/sqm, with subsidies I think about 1.6k€/sqm (BEG EM about 40k, municipal about 4.5k, tax return about 9k - if all goes through as planned). We did everything (electrics (25k), water pipes (20k), radiators (18k), heating system (heat pump, 30k), windows (34k including window sills and wooden front door), roof completely new (on old roof truss, 60k), newly plastered and painted (35k), facade painted (10k including adjustments to new windows), architect (37k), shell construction (35k, of which 2k alone for the portable toilet for 1 year , lots of small stuff like energy consultant for Bafa application, structural engineer (3k), container costs (>1k) etc...) except facade insulation (already installed) and cellar excavation (we keep it "damp," as it is only used for storage and dry enough for that).
