Which kitchen variant have you decided on now?

For a modified alternative 2 (the appliances are positioned slightly differently). However, we are still waiting for the drawing for the detailed planning.

For ergonomic reasons, it is probably not the best choice, but we believe it fits better with our workflows, at least while the children (3 and 0) are still running around uncontrollably for the next 5-X years. For example, the "golden distance" of 1.20 meters would be too narrow for me. The passage at the bottom left was widened a bit to 80 cm, so the counter is now somewhat narrower.

So, the scaffolding is gone, here are a few pictures from the outside!

We debated back and forth whether to paint the new window frames white - but then decided against it. I think that was quite good, otherwise it would probably look too busy. We are also satisfied with the choice of color - when the paint was freshly applied it was still rather bright yellow, which surprised us a bit :)

On the garden side, I find the windows at the top improvable, maybe it’s possible to build some kind of wooden cladding between the middle and left and middle and right... we’ll see.

Outside, for now only the terrace is planned, which will then connect to the open balcony side. We are excited :)

And here are a few impressions from the inside.

3 pictures from the living-dining area on the ground floor:

View of the dining area with sliding door to the terrace, behind it the kitchen.
View from the living room into the dining area with the sliding door.
And once a view from the sliding door into the living room (left side), stairwell (middle) and kitchen (right).

It has already been cleaned here, but not painted.

Upstairs in the stairwell, we also got a new skylight with the new roof, which greatly enhances the area upstairs. The hallway still looks bad, but it is also the only place that still needs to be replastered. Otherwise, the top floor has already been painted and sanded twice, the color of the floor can also be seen in the ground floor pictures.

Really turned out great! Can you recommend your architect despite the minor miscalculations? We also want to renovate in southern Lower Saxony and would appreciate any contacts.
