Wise words, but Farmer Hansi usually just answers me with when he should do that, and besides, he owns so much land that the general shortage of land doesn't really bother him (very polemically put).
I am hoping for my generation. They are affected most clearly by the whole mess. A lot is really happening now, after all, one of my best friends has been elected to the city council. We just had it way too good for way too long in our parental homes.

In his village, maybe something can still be changed, but otherwise, nobody believes in that anymore, right? It no longer matters at all what you vote for, since there is only one political direction left in Germany. Democracy and free media exist only on paper, unfortunately.

I think people can also just talk things up nicely, but that’s not a strategy I consider sensible. If it works for you, okay.

Somehow it really gets to me that the basic necessity of housing has become so expensive .... How loud would the outcry be if none of us could afford food anymore? You could only eat well if your parents gifted you something ...? What comes to mind to improve the situation is that hoarding land finally stops ....

Of course there are free media. That is simply nonsense. And on the topic of "changing something": of course you can, the majority of complainers just have no interest in changing anything if they have to do something for it. They have to get involved. They have to sacrifice time. Anything that is not delivered to you directly on a silver platter is not worth the effort. Or have you ever tried to change something, politically speaking?

Of course you can. It obviously doesn't work like going somewhere as an individual, banging on the table and then everything changes. What you can achieve with commitment in community and movement is also enormous on a supra-regional level. According to your statement, something like Fridays for Future would not be possible. And which strategy would you consider sensible?

Good argument. But you are right to some extent that there are still a few independent journalists who are allowed to do their work. Fortunately, we don't have Russian conditions yet. FfF is pushed with a lot of money and lobbying, but the topic also fits well into the left-green zeitgeist. However, it is a very unique example; there aren't many like it. I am very interested in politics, but the developments are very worrying and I get too annoyed about it.
