Tendentially, there will be more photovoltaic systems in the future, which are energy-autark in summer and also supply several neighbors in the low-voltage network. Tendentially, there will be more WPs and thus more winter consumers. Tendentially, there will be more electric cars, which consume more in winter anyway and may be used significantly less in summer in favor of the bicycle. Tendentially, there will be a significantly higher electricity demand in winter in the future than in summer. Tendentially, not everyone, absolutely, black-and-white thinking...

At our place, it stands opposite the entrance and also away from the garden/terrace. Sure, in winter you can hear the outdoor unit if a window is open on that side, but otherwise and in summer we don’t hear anything; the bedroom is also on the opposite side.

In summer they also run little and only at low speed. And of course you hear nothing - that is usually the case, because the house builder sets it so that he doesn't notice anything :D

Exactly, in summer it is, as you say, very quiet and in winter you normally have the windows closed, so you don’t hear anything either.
And you don’t have to place it right next to the front door or on the terrace.
Therefore, if you don’t set up a heat pump yourself, one from a neighbor can just as well bother you.

Yes, exactly that is what I also wrote about.

Sorry, but it would never occur to me in my wildest dreams to put such a thing on my property - partly because of the annual performance factor, and then because of the noise, for my sake and above all for the sake of my neighbors.
