In the meantime, I have already acquired a second pellet stove.

Both are operated without a buffer and modulate hardly at all. Radiators are sized larger for this (heat pump design). One heats 800m³, the other 600m³, each >20kW. Hot water is provided by 7.5m² solar thermal on one and an instantaneous water heater on the other.

Both have somehow made a controlled residential ventilation system unnecessary. The incredible thing is, I come close to the Kfw55 energy saving regulation 2009, even though it was built to KFW100 and higher standards. Old newly rediscovered heating methods work again, which had been forgotten due to today's usual undersizing.

Happy New Year.

... I laugh. Just google Primary Energy Factor Pellet, then you will know why it is so "great".

No funding because everything was built by ourselves not according to the regulations that prohibit more sensible things instead of allowing them, therefore there is no real primary energy factor.

PS: According to the [Energieeinsparverordnung], an almost 100% loss-free heating system could not be installed.

You are talking about KFW55 according to the Energy Saving Ordinance 2009 but not about the primary energy factor?! okay...

The only interesting thing for me is the very low consumption of the large solidly built hut, fuel fits in a corner of the garage. Sleight of hand tricks for [KFW] classification were not of interest! :) Pellets are calculated with a primary energy factor of 0.2. Therefore, it is easy to come down in the classification.

In reality, there are higher consumptions in domestic heating systems like with VW due to higher losses!

That is why I simply left them out in advance.

And what does that have to do with pellets, please!?
