This is not really a special discovery since the OP linked it themselves in the starting post. However, I did not register just for this observation.
I really like the exterior design, clear lines, straightforward, enough windows. However, I share the "concerns" of many users that (a) it will be more expensive than estimated and (b) not everything is fully thought through. The roof terrace looks nice, I could imagine that too (without knowing your view and surroundings), but the path from the garage to the front door (or do you enter the kitchen from the back?) is suboptimal for my taste. Without a granny flat, it wouldn't just be cheaper, but you could also enter the house from the garage below and possibly put things directly into the storage cellar. I personally would also not place the guest toilet facing the terrace - then the (party) guests piss and fuck with the window tilted and you're standing outside in front of it....
Office "option." Yeah yeah, I know, in the dining room, but that's exactly how I want it. I like watching my family during work or hobbies (IT and electrical engineering nerd). If needed, there’s the glass wall.
Separating the office is probably more wishful thinking than a realistic option - moving the kitchen (with island!), a dining room and the living room into that small rectangle would probably look pretty cramped. If you can comfortably work at the dining table while the kids jump around anyway, then the original open layout makes more sense. I personally don’t like the lack of storage space either, but maybe we just have disproportionately much stuff.
At first glance, I found it very sleek and straightforward, and the upper floor with its layout also appeals to me, but without any storage space, the ground floor doesn’t seem particularly practical for everyday things.
