So for photovoltaics, you should plan for two pipes. Also run a LAN cable to the doorbell. Likewise, at the locations where you might want to install cameras. Access point in the living room, and one in each office. One on the upper floor would be enough, but then only with 2.4GHz and lower transmission rates. Don't skimp on the LAN cabling. You can of course lay the LAN in the technical room yourself. Definitely tell the electrician that you want a patch panel with Keystone. Also a network cabinet (not too small), switch, and multiple socket outlet.

You don't see it immediately in the construction service description because it is not listed among the rooms but in the introductory text, but double RJ45 is already included in every living room. Apart from the two APs, I couldn't say what else I would need for LAN. I would rather hang a switch on the media wall in the living room for all the devices; it then disappears in the lowboard. How big are the conduits for photovoltaic? And what do I say why, because the electrician wants to lay cables right away...

One size larger than the electrician recommends. Cable thickness depends on the system size and wiring. Reason: Because I feel more comfortable with that.

Make the switch central and have multiple landlines in the living room. This way full 1 Gbit and you only have to buy and manage one switch. 2xdn40 for photovoltaics (different strings, grounding, possibly weather station/wind guard...) Don't forget the access point for terrace/garden.

My electrician has also pre-laid cables. Since we do not have a cable duct to the upper floor in our house, empty conduit would not have been possible either. Outdoor lamps, does your wife want the currently popular up/down ones outside? Then you need more light points.

We do not want to illuminate the house, we are not very vain in that regard, but at most the paths and places we use. I am thinking now of the entrance, parking space, and terrace.
