Has the 1 Gbit cable shown up yet? If not, distribute the LAN cables anyway

Don't quite understand what you mean. So far, nothing is on the construction site. LAN (CAT 7) will be installed, as mentioned, in every living/bedroom.

That’s how it was for us, and I properly marked all the drawings for the individual installations. Sockets, double..., light switches, outlets, etc. What I neverever wanted were sockets below the light switch at the door. I wanted them down by the floor, so at 30 cm or whatever that is. But this was not recognized in the drawings. So I ended up with this unnecessary socket below the light switch in every room o_O That’s how it is now

.. I managed it ;) ... I had a general agreement, sockets that I drew into the plans and that had no explicit height indication in the plan were at 30 cm height. And for the other sockets, the height was indicated next to each one. However, the executing electrician was also my longtime neighbor who moved into the same apartment building as I did.

By the way, here – typically Erzgebirge – we also have the window socket for the Schwibbogen in every window. We did not even draw these sockets in separately. It was generally agreed that they would be installed on the left side inside the window recess in all apartments and be on a separate circuit per apartment, for which a timer can be set in the fuse box.

Isn’t that great? In our current apartment, even the simplest things were forgotten, but that’s also the case there o_O
As a newcomer from Saxony, I often encounter such "self-evident things" that would never have occurred to me. So we currently spend 70% of the time during the electrical planning discussing the connection of the Herrnhut star. THAT is our problem and not the structural integrity of the house. In the beginning, I occasionally tried in a pathetic way to introduce some delicacies from my home region BaWü here until I was made clear that Riesa noodles and Pulsnitz slices etc. have their unique selling point.... alongside Bautzen mustard. When I was initially interested in a gas fireplace, I was told at several places: We don’t like that so much here in Saxony, so it’s not available :D

.....I thought you have back problems...
Maybe it’s from old habits but why bend down to plug in the vacuum cleaner when you can do it standing up........ says my wife

Because the socket on the switch or at that height just looks awful. I'd rather bend down too.

That's why we also have on-site planning. We are now doing the rough planning for the individual rooms in the drawings. Otherwise, I'll forget half of it later. But the exact position of the individual switches and sockets is painted on the walls on site.
