I would plan sufficient network connections where it is already certain that many devices with network ports will be installed and avoid having more than one switch in the room. At first glance, this would be the TV in the living room and also the office.

In the Allraum we had 2 TV positions installed, one is now behind the cabinet. Remember the speaker cables, we laid them ourselves as 4mm2.

Regarding this topic, I am increasingly realizing that I am out of some races, although that rather reassures me. In our current, really large apartment, before moving in, we had network sockets installed everywhere; the electrician was really enthusiastic and wanted to equip it optimally. Today, after almost 2 years, I have not used a single one of those sockets, my fancy laptop doesn't even have a LAN port, and I also can't imagine in the future what I, meaning not "one," would ever need them for, and I'm not sitting here behind the stove carving Christmas nativity scenes. From Netflix, Spotify, Bose speakers, and whatever else, even with visits from young people, everything runs over my very ordinary "WiFi" with a basic Fritzbox, and I am glad that at least in this area in the new build I will finally have lower costs than most of my building colleagues here. Being older can sometimes be quite reassuring.

Everything works, and when the kids, grinning widely, take over the TV and the system with the phone, there is mood and noise here, from Paw Patrol to hard rock. All devices are connected to LAN/WLAN, which is more than enough nowadays.

hm well if I copy larger amounts of data, I'm already very early over a cable :)

But that probably only applies to very specific Danish westerns..... As I said, I can only judge this for us here and people in my household are still working with current online activities and much more. It's not a criticism, I'm just happy that from long experience I simply don't need it, even though I use everything that Apass offers me.
