Hallway gone, bedroom with direct access to the terrace and possibly also from the baby room.

... unhappy! It means if we have guests and need to celebrate on the terrace, they would either have to go through the bedroom or the baby room. I definitely do not want them to go through the bedroom! The baby room would also be unpleasant for various reasons ... unfortunately.

You are celebrating with your guests in the private living quarters upstairs? I would never have thought of that. I thought there was the balcony down by the kitchen for that.

Thought so too. Better plan a garden access from the balcony on the ground floor.

The terrace is just huge and is perfect for larger BBQ parties - for that reason, we naturally wanted to keep the option open. The small regular gatherings with fewer than 10 people will definitely take place downstairs. I think we will call them exceptions. Nevertheless, for these exceptions, the hallway would still be the most ideal ... even if we only used the terrace for "family relaxing" and sunbathing, I would still find the hallway the most advantageous.

However, I will definitely keep the idea of garden access to the balcony on the ground floor in mind. We won't implement that right now, but it could be another project after completion.
