Good morning everyone,

thanks again for your suggestions and criticism! We have now decided on the attached option – or rather, we will pursue this for the time being. There might still be one or two minor changes, but roughly speaking, we will move in this direction (that’s of course the advantage of building it yourself). Let’s see what the construction will show when we can finally start swinging the sledgehammer.

Thanks! And have a nice weekend!

Mmh. Somehow a deterioration in the dressing-bath area. Placing the cabinets in the middle is unfortunately not an improvement. That doesn’t work. Take a look at the passage widths between the cabinets. I stick to my suggestion. :P

The furnishing of the entire house is still very "speculative". The exemplary cabinets in the middle are more intended as a dresser with a flat shelf on top and will of course be somewhat smaller.

I still think it's a pity to practically "give away" the terrace upstairs, because cigarette or no cigarette afterwards: you will hardly use it from the bedroom if life is raging downstairs.

... should preferably be replaced with less speculative ones before swinging the sledgehammer.

The (sun) terrace will be used by the family as a place of relaxation for sunbathing and "splashing around" with the kids. We will let the bear rage downstairs and keep the idea of a staircase to the garden from the balcony on the ground floor in reserve – we really liked that.

Every room will be used as planned. But whether the closet xyz is placed facing left or right, we leave open at this point. In the next step, we will finalize the financing. Then we still have until the end of the year to finish the detailed planning of the furnishings. We will start in the new year.
