Number of network sockets; how to plan Wi-Fi in the new building?

Most of it has already been said...
Access point on the ceiling in every hallway. (Light or Pro, depending on what you want to spend)
With UniFi, the POE injectors are included, so a POE switch doesn't make sense.

200/400 is really something big, I think for us it would have been around 100/150.
But we have one in every room anyway, and instead of the satellite socket as a cost-neutral replacement, we also got a network socket. So although we generally have only 2 individual sockets per room except for exceptions, if there is really a need, you just put a small switch on the socket. The main thing is to keep the location somewhat open, or in any case, you definitely have one for the TV and one for the PC.

Exactly. And he should stop that. Pulling duplex cables is a pain.

APs do not belong in the hallway area but where the most speed is needed.
