If the general contractor suggests a balcony, it always raises my suspicion that the budget for the full square meters is not sufficient.

In my opinion, the balcony is pointless for the children anyway. I still created 3 variants - one with a balcony, one without, and one just for the parents.





For variant 3, however, you would first have to ask the general contractor whether he can properly handle the drainage. Normally no problem - just a bit more complex.

Good evening!! After a long time, some discussions and good advice from the forum, as well as from family and friends, we now have a new draft. The house has not been rotated, the rooms are just arranged differently. North is at the top. We have already read a lot about whether the bedroom should be next to the bathroom, but not next to the children's rooms. Now the bedroom is directly next to the bathroom upstairs. A direct door to the bathroom would be advisable. But we don’t want to hear all the noises from the bathroom in the bedroom. Do you have any experience or tips to reduce them? Then we probably don't deserve any further answers here -.- We favored kaho's 2nd draft for a long time, although the way from the bedroom to the bathroom is quite far there...
