It has to be in some corner after all. I don't find it excessively far away that you’d have to worry about the pipes. Of course, it varies everywhere – you have the 15m anyway, so 3m more doesn’t really make much difference or does it? The question, in my opinion, is what main orientation you want to give the house? Normally, you orient the house toward the garden – your own garden. That’s where the action is, where you’ll sit, have your garden, and the kids will play. The view over the meadows onto the neighbor’s property is also nice. I find it nice to integrate it at an angle, but that’s enough, because you won’t be there. You could also consider rotating the house 90°, just a thought. Then the south garden would be bigger. The orientation then more toward your own garden/terrace. It also depends a lot on the local conditions. I really haven’t understood this properly: is the driveway already completely in place? Or should it be new? Is the front door in the east mandatory? A photo might be helpful regarding the slope, view, and possibly existing paths.

Here is a standard with a 26° roof:

Thank you very much for your valuable input!

To bring a little clarity to the discussion, you can see a few photos attached.
Basically, the lawn area is the construction site. At the end of the lawn, it drops about 2 meters down. The view to the west is still blocked by trees when standing at the top of the property. However, the trees may be removed.

So the path is already laid out, and in my opinion, it makes little sense to ignore it since we have to stay 15 meters away from the street anyway (which is 0.5 meters behind the path).
That means the entrance from the east is actually predetermined.
I have already considered rotating the house, but we have significantly more width than depth in the building area, because otherwise the slope would be a problem.

Wow, thanks for your efforts!
First, two questions:
- What program do you use for the illustrations?
- Could you relatively easily depict one with a roof > 40° (still with a high knee wall)? Then you would have an expandable attic. I would like to see how "strange" that looks.

Regarding the designs:
- The upper floor is pleasing. I had something similar in mind. I would only place the parents' bedroom & bathroom to the north.
- The ground floor is definitely an interesting concept. But I'm not sure whether the living room/kitchen should be swapped, as then you could face south into the garden from the kitchen and look into the distance from the living area (like in my design).

Yes, what kind of luxury is that? Someone was so kind and already laid a path, planted a hedge, mowed the lawn, and planted magnificent trees! Amazing! I would have loved to have my field like that. Is the path drivable?

We can't allow felling trees here. They are a dream. Buildings are constructed around trees. Take a leaf out of 's book!

Here is the view at 40°:

This is a sketch. If there is a little window at the top, it looks even more appealing. So, I’d say it works.

Either you or I mixed up the directions. The S stands for south on the ground floor. Never mind.
What is at the end of the path? Does it go all the way to the fence?

The way you have sketched the layout now, it’s really awkward to drive the car around the corner into the carport. Are carports allowed to be closer than 15m to the street? Special rules often apply for these. Then maybe it would be better to place it like this:

Best to ask the building authority.
