In my opinion, it also works without a basement. The plot is 22m wide here and the building footprint is 16m.

blue: original terrain
green: modeled

I looked at it again. It actually works better because there is 1/4 less volume.

Roof, however, a bit flatter so that the children can still look out well.

Amazing, thanks for the visualization/modeling

I am happy to upload the original sketches of the preliminary draft, then you can see that the terrain was taken into account quite well.
The recessed ceiling in the children's room was just an example to explain to us that storage space could still be created here (or in the garage ceiling). The pantry was a suggestion and came in later, but I don’t know if we will need it at all; at least it wasn’t a requirement in the room program.

Here is a suggestion with approximately 140 m2 of living space

In the basement there is a utility room, guest/office, toilet with shower, entrance, cloakroom, storage room and garage

House dimensions 11*8.5m.

Possibly it can be made a few m2 smaller.

Do you really want to live in the north? On the border with the houses right above? If you really want that, then the house should be set closer to the street in order to at least have some garden space in the north. You tell me what you like and what you don't like about the design. I have the entrance at the bottom and the same number of stairs up to the living room. Before we continue writing here, I advise you to create a new post and start with the questionnaire. Please fill it out as completely as possible. https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/grundriss-planung-unbedingt-vor-beitrag-erstellung-lesen.11714/

With the boundary garage, the architect cannot comply with the ridge direction.

Your property is large enough and does not need the boundary development at all.

That pleases me, and now it’s already the weekend again. By the way, I am also reachable on Saturdays until 8 p.m. That’s pretty much the style of my doodles too (except that I usually do them with a ballpoint pen). Architects simply draw without aiming for it to look like a draftsman style. I have two Aldis, Lidls, and Nettos within cycling distance, as well as a Kaufland and a REWE within walking distance. Nevertheless, I would not do without kitchen-near storage (in my cellar so that I have to climb stairs).
