The recessed ceiling in the children's room was just an example to explain to us that storage space could still be created here (or in the garage ceiling). The pantry was a suggestion and came in later, but I don’t know if we will need it at all; at least it wasn’t a requirement in the room program.

That’s pretty much the style of my doodles too (except that I usually do them with a ballpoint pen). Architects simply draw without aiming for it to look like a draftsman style.

I have two Aldis, Lidls, and Nettos within cycling distance, as well as a Kaufland and a REWE within walking distance. Nevertheless, I would not do without kitchen-near storage (in my cellar so that I have to climb stairs).
