I absolutely agree with and again the topic of generosity would be my main focus here. If you have large glass surfaces, it feels like you live outside and it appears significantly more spacious. You have to shade anyway, even if they are small areas. Often a smaller, unshaded window area is enough to create a few more degrees in the living area. Therefore - more window surfaces definitely in my opinion.

When it comes to generosity and effect, you are one hundred percent right. Theoretically fantastic, in practice however also associated with disadvantages.
South side = shaded all day in summer to keep temperatures bearable!?
So many windows that there is hardly any space left for furniture?
Windows that all have to be considered when cleaning?
I mean, based on the current plan with 3x 2.20m windows, it shouldn’t appear too dark!?

We faced a similar situation, passageway 140cm, and decided here on a floor-to-ceiling, two-part glass hinged door with movable parts in both directions. That could be difficult to implement with the current layout - Generally, I don’t find sliding doors very comfortable because a hinged door is easier/more convenient to open.

We will still have to think about the doors.

Sliding doors to the kitchen will definitely be out!
We still have to find a solution for the door from the hallway. The fact that sliding doors are not optimal here is understood.

I once placed the house on the site plan. Gussek Haus builds the dormer for the bathroom so often that they will already know how to do it – otherwise, I would have put a question mark behind it. I have yet to develop any enthusiasm for the slope. After all, it is about 1.15 m high.

The slope is a bit of an issue. We are not exactly enthusiastic either, but in this case, it actually offers advantages in terms of "shielding" from the road behind.
Unfortunately, we had no choice regarding the municipal plot in this case. The motto was "take it or leave it." Let's see what we can make of it.

But a floor plan evaluation without realistic furniture is complete nonsense to me. Take the bedroom and arrange it the way you want.

I obviously expressed myself unclearly. Of course, it makes more sense to include the furnishing, which we will still catch up on. More precisely, this has already been done "analog," but unfortunately not digitally. I lacked the time for that, so I initially asked here for advice regarding the "construction method of the floor plan," as corresponding final planning with the architect will take place soon...

In other words, along the lines of "HW much too small".... "windows far too big".... "definitely don’t arrange it like this because..." More will follow from our side with the request for your valued opinion.

The shower bathroom on the ground floor is too small for me as a parents' bathroom. The bathroom upstairs is used by the children, so there is no space left for the parents there.

At the same time, there is no brilliant idea to enlarge it significantly, except to let the shower tray extend a little further into the utility room. However, we won’t be able to take much more space away from the utility room.

Your mentioned bedroom has the best location on the site. I would place the all-purpose room, whether open or not, facing southwest, the bedroom in the east, utility room northeast. Or something like that. Advantage: the all-purpose room also gets natural light in the afternoon during the dark season. So simply counter the house....

Honestly, we have already played through the same thoughts three times. Regarding the cardinal directions, you are probably right, but unfortunately the proposed arrangement would come with other disadvantages related to the local situation (street, neighbors, etc.).
Therefore, in principle, we are actually satisfied with the current plan or the "east/south design," although it represents a certain compromise.

We will still agree with my wife about swapping the bedroom with the currently designated study.

The draft is well structured, successful, and compact. In my view, it doesn’t make sense to judge it without furnishings. The house is a shell for your life. "Racing paths" and space for everyone do play a role. Especially with compact room dimensions, it is decisive how furniture, space, light, and movement fit together. If you use this door often and, for example, have a herb garden in front of it or can imagine an unofficial "children's play entrance": wide. We like it open. But that means nothing for you. As an advantage, I see the more generous spatial feeling in the living area. It’s worth it. Less work (cleaning under an open staircase is annoying) and dust-free usable space. 2,000 EUR is okay for a "made-to-measure built-in furniture" – you can really spend money more foolishly.
