We already had the discussion in I think around page 24 or 30, by the way about a house design derived from a Gussek house model. By the way, the north side is the side with the largest share of indirect light, which is more diffuse (i.e. has less sharp shadows) – when lighting a staircase that is anything but a disadvantage.

So windows, without regard for losses ... and as large as possible!?
Are there any experience-based values on how and how often one should reasonably clean them? After all, you can’t just easily reach them so high above the staircase.

P.s. You have a lantern in front of the bedroom window. Nothing is worse... even with shutters. You actually have to use them all the time.

Let's see how we will cope with that. To be honest, we're less worried about it.
