The dining area is too narrow. The minimum distance is 80 cm from the edge of the table to the wall. To the kitchen unit, I would plan at least 1.20 m from the edge of the table. Someone should still be able to walk past when the space is occupied.

About where the dishwasher should go? Or are you making a schedule for when the dishwasher is opened so others don’t bump into it? I would see it critically with two people, but with three children on top of that, no. Should one constantly shuttle to the garage? In the 5 hours I’m off work, I’m in the utility room and storage room about 10 times a day... and I don’t have 3 children... is the garage heated? Many things have to be stored inside the house. Laundry in the garage? What you’re planning is unrealistic and sorry, out of touch with reality. An office in the hallway between the children's rooms has also been mentioned... The house will not work.

Oh, stairs: if the 20 refers to the height, then it will be steeper than the standard of 19. One centimeter sounds like little, but for some, it can already be somewhat tedious to walk on a staircase.

The "inspiration" has nothing to do with Bauhaus either. Storing everything in the garage is not really sensible, as has already written. Especially since the garage is not that big. With three children, there are also bicycles and other things lying around.

I can only agree. The staircase would be way too steep for me, there is very little space for a dining table, and an open office is out of the question for me (working from home for 3 months now).

I would also miss storage space. Besides many everyday items, there are also hobbies that require space.

The office will be moved to one of the children's rooms in the medium term; our oldest is already 21.

I am considering adding a door from the utility room to the garage and possibly enlarging the garage further. The house as a whole must not grow further, partly for cost reasons and partly because the building use limit of neighboring buildings must be observed.
