That’s what the newbie here is telling me.
Please read more carefully or maybe I should say, please understand better. I also plan houses with spiral corridors if the OP likes it. But you can still marvel at all the things that exist.

What does the structural engineer say about the nice big living room? Does another pillar need to be added or is the one by the kitchen enough?

The cloakroom looks very tight to me.

Only a newbie in posting. Be glad if it's always just standard stuff, otherwise it gets boring eventually.
The statics are OK, the column by the kitchen and next to the fireplace are sufficient.

This would actually be the perfect place for a wardrobe. But the space is too narrow and the sliding door would then have to go into the wall. I would sacrifice about 50cm from the living room and move it along with the stairs downwards in the plan. That would also be good for the utility room. It should be feasible on the upper floor without major loss of coziness.

Just by the way, you can’t look under the stairs now, can you? I miss the privacy here because only dust bunnies nest there if it stays open.

no one expects that from you

Well, you can definitely follow the standard of getting into a tub without injury. You don’t build your bed into the niche either, but make sure there is some/enough space on the side. The same problem applies to the tub. You have to get in there even if you have sciatica.
Or in old age: it’s common to retrofit a handle for getting in. Or a small step helps children get in. Or very classically: a parent has to be present when bathing the children. How are you supposed to hold a child from the short side here?
In this respect, it’s not about something run-of-the-mill (are you sure you know my numerous designs? Just recently someone here questioned our creativity )

Also, placing a washbasin so that you stand with your back to the door is not favored by everyone.

Funny to criticize the one as a run-of-the-mill designer who revealed your bedroom to you

We had considered that, but it is not important to us. Quite the opposite: we made the living room exactly 50cm larger than in our first plan, because otherwise the space wasn’t enough for us. The utility room goes under the stairs; the 50cm is still available there.

The stairs are closed off from the living room side. Only a wooden shelf for the fireplace will go in there.

Honestly, I can’t quite follow you now, the long side of the tub is open after all. Especially in the first bath proposal with the tub next to the shower, the tub is very accessible.

Please be careful, I have never criticized anyone here as run-of-the-mill. I only said that work can become boring if you always do the same run-of-the-mill tasks. But that applies to every job and was not aimed at the working method and/or approach of any individual persons. And for the bedroom and the previous comments I have also thanked several times.

THAT, for example, I COULDN’T CARE LESS about Just personal preferences.
