The drywall partition between the shower and the bathtub is room height and approximately 1.1 meters wide. This makes the shower easy to enter, as the bathtub only protrudes in the leg area and there is enough space in the upper body area. Storage niches for shower gel and the like will be recessed into the slant-separated corner in drywall construction and tiled.

For the selection of the bathtub, a certain additional budget should be reserved due to its prominent location.

Friends of ours have an almost identical cut. Basically very stylish, except that they have a freestanding bathtub (on feet), which I do not consider child-friendly.

The wall at the tub only needs to be just under 2 meters high. That would leave a good 40-50 centimeters of air above to let light through. I find the combination very efficient and space-saving, so I can’t understand some of the statements here.
I’m attaching a rough 3D model.

I don’t find this bad either. We had the idea too, but thought it would need much more space and so we didn’t even try. We should have done it However, I’m missing a bit of storage space, one or two small cabinets should be in the bathroom after all. Maybe a less deep sideboard fits under the window, I’ll measure it right away. Thanks a lot for the suggestion!

I don’t like tubs on feet because you have to clean underneath and it’s hard to reach under with the mop
