What is that supposed to mean? Windows are part of the planning and have to be approved, so nothing provisional.
Correct, but since we have not yet submitted a building application and therefore have nothing to approve yet, they are still provisional for the time being. Once we know how the rooms are supposed to look, the windows will be set permanently.
But it does suggest mentally dealing with the madness. The bathroom is totally cramped and impractical. It won’t look nice either, as it is drawn. After showering, do you also clean the tub immediately, or do you bathe in an aquarium because of a glass wall?
Hm, madness, cramped, impractical, cozy – all very subjective. Why cramped exactly? Saving space more than having shower and bathtub side by side is hardly possible. I personally find it extremely practical, for example, if only a certain corner of the bathroom gets wet. When I see some people building bathtubs right next to the bathroom door but placing the sink on the other side of the room and every day covering half the bathroom floor with bathwater, I can only shake my head. To me, it rather seems like certain standards have to be followed here so that some members consider the room "good," although "good" is such a personal opinion, and there are indeed people who like to try something new. We have now drawn 14 different floor plans for the bathroom; apart from the current one, none really pleased us. But we can also turn the whole thing around:
I am grateful for any suggestion that meets the following criteria:
- Wet area should be separated from the dry area, meaning: bathtub and shower placed so that your feet don’t get wet when going to the toilet or sink
- Window must be on this wall of the house
- Laundry chute must be in the upper right corner
I look forward to and appreciate suggestions
