You know that you don't have to build up to the building boundaries, but you can? Or could it be that it might get tight because you have already chosen an exact model house? You don't usually do something like that either... ;) If you would provide exact measurements, we might be able to ease your concerns here. No one measures the property on the screen now to see what the width or depth is, or exactly where the building area is located.

No, of course we haven’t chosen anything yet. Planning will definitely be done with an architect and only after we get approval for a specific building plot. But I already have a certain idea of how the house should look – a modern barn, without eaves, without a basement, but with a double garage, large window front at the back... The new development area is located in a rural area, so I don’t want to build a square city villa or a pseudo Bauhaus-style house. It should be something modern that fits the surroundings (many old half-timbered barns nearby). I would also like a solid wood house. Since barns are narrow but long, I’m just wondering if these plots are simply not "short" enough... It’s really not an easy decision...

I like barn (we have 15 x 8m :-) ). Therefore, once again the question about ridge direction: North-South would orient everything towards the garden/vineyards and separate you from the street.

You don’t want to share the dimensions of the plot? And what about a development plan? Or had you already mentioned it?

Ridge direction... I have to think briefly... sorry, I'm a woman... ;) The slopes to the south and to the north? Or lengthwise to the street? We would like to install a photovoltaic system, so I would need a large roof surface facing south...
They have not been officially disclosed yet. Tender from mid-March.
I printed out the development plan on DIN A3 and measured it to scale with a ruler ;) should be approximately 20 x 24/25...

You already wrote that. I asked about width and depth.
And the building area? Where is it located? What distances?

Maybe you just post the original wording of the development plan, without your interpretation?!

I’m a woman too ;)
