I also find that this does not necessarily speak in favor of the kitchen studio. 13500 is very cheap nowadays for a Nolte kitchen of that size. A reputable kitchen studio at least gives you some pictures of the planning. And upon request, we also received all the exact model names of our electrical appliances. We chose them during the consultation based on brand and range of functions.

So we were in two studios, both of which I would recommend without any reservations. Regarding pictures of the planning, both were still very reserved. Nevertheless, it was as Kati writes, that we were given the exact models or looked them up ourselves and could write them down. Even the exact prices could be provided to us by one studio, although that is usually probably not possible. At €13,500, these probably won’t be super-premium devices with every little gadget, but you should at least know what you’re getting. If the planner doesn’t want to give you anything, then at least write down the model number of each device and check yourself.

Just be aware that the price is rather on the lower end for a new build and that the price comes from somewhere. If you mainly use the oven to bake frozen pizza or to gratinate a casserole with cheese, then you don’t need to spend several thousand euros. But if there are revolving door cabinets everywhere, then that’s the wrong place to save. That already restricts you a lot.

Am I the only one who finds the price suspiciously cheap for today's standards? Nolte is quite a bit more expensive than Nobilia, isn't it? We have to pay 20,800€ for our Nobilia (L+island). And we compared the price levels of 3 kitchen studios, so this is not an expensive kitchen studio. I calculated the electrical appliances based on the model numbers (Bora PUXU, oven, refrigerator, 2 dishwashers all from Miele, but not the most expensive devices). The electrical appliances + sockets + sink probably account for about half of the price. The rest goes to the furniture. So if we end up with around 10-12k for the furniture, how can they offer you 13.5k from a higher quality manufacturer including electrical appliances?

Why not? Since many people plan a kitchen for 2 hours and then never come back, I can partially understand the industry. I would also only give that out with a contract. It would be nice if the industry just charged planning costs, provided drawings, and then offset the costs when purchasing/ordering/placing the order. That would be a win-win situation for both parties. Nolte often has offers..., and besides the corner cabinet and towel cabinet, there’s no significant furnishing here. Basically just bare cabinets.

For a base cabinet, the difference between hinged doors and 3 drawers can easily be 400-600 €. So there's still a lot to be gained. For the electrical appliances, I would also suspect that depending on the model choice, you could end up around 5-6000 €. I wouldn't necessarily rank Nolte higher in price than Nobilia. Overall a close call but I think it's possible.

Based on the description, I also suspect a number of base cabinets with doors and one drawer. And no pull-outs, which are so much better equipped than base cabinets with doors. And in a kitchen of this size, you could easily do without the corner carousel (should! ;) ).
