Attached is a small update again, it was a bit confusing the way I wrote it down. The cooktop is planned on the island. The oven is next to the refrigerator, with the microwave above it.
Still, I think your approach of considering the paths is good. Currently, we cook a lot with the Thermomix and less with the cooktop, we need to take that into account. Whether that will stay that way, I don't know.
At first, we also wanted to place the oven and refrigerator at the top left, but the kitchen planner didn't really want that because from the living/dining room you then have a nicer, more open view of the wall with the window. The idea would be to leave a side-by-side refrigerator in the current place and move the oven to the top left. What do you think? We like the wall cabinets very much, but the current view is somewhat blocked by the tall cabinets.
The island is also intended for baking :-)

Basically correct, but the problem is not the wasted corner itself, rather the space required on both sides of the L by the corner solution. Just watch a video, it will quickly become clear.

I haven’t calculated it, but I would guess it’s the other way around. Storage space should be significantly more, since you would have more tall cabinets and the island offers usable cabinets on both sides. The net work surface might be a bit smaller, but with an island it is contiguous and well usable. You might need to get into detailed planning for that, others are better at that than I am.

Search once at the well-known search service for aircraft carrier with HS line. It is now a different price category in terms of implementation but, as I find, a great plan.

Hehe, I need the dish towel about 20 times after work... I wouldn’t want to open a door for that... nor give up 20 cm of width, or another expensive cabinet. Besides, it wouldn’t be beneficial to the appearance.

Well, the paths and ergonomics are basically the ABC of kitchen planning. The paths determine the layout.
For example, I also wouldn’t place the frequently used fridge in front of the entrance, so that an open door and the resident block others. But that’s just how it is with this kind of arrangement.

The fact that the kitchen studio doesn’t provide you with pictures or the kitchen plan already indicates that they are not offering transparency.

I visited several studios and none provided pictures or the plan, but at least a listed offer with all the items included. Later, on recommendation from our general contractor, I went to an owner-operated kitchen studio and they actually gave us everything in advance. We also bought our kitchen there because I was somewhat able to understand what justified the price of around €21,000.
