Assume that the [Einliegerwohnung] concerns the loan amount with KfW, which is now €120,000 per residential unit. With an [Einliegerwohnung] in the house, it accordingly becomes €240,000.

Do you see any possibility at first glance to take advantage of the new subsidies given the following conditions? (Really theoretical and legal. I will have to check the meaningfulness and feasibility myself)

- Completion of house financing in 09/2019
- KfW 55
- Financing, approval all done
- Funding application for energy consultant also submitted online
- Construction has not yet started. Earthworks are supposed to begin in the next few weeks depending on the weather
- Previous payments (planning etc.) from equity capital

in post #11 has already quoted the passage from the FAQs of the KfW.

This also aligns with the statement from the KfW that I received last November. At that time, my plan was to switch from Kfw40 to Kfw40+.

Otherwise, my situation is just like yours. I have asked the financing partner and the KfW directly again how these cases are handled. I would also recommend that to you.

It is basically the "carry-over effect" again now. If it works out, that’s great, but I am not upset if it goes as planned last year.
I am much more pleased that it is finally starting now

Well, if the rooms don’t require too many changes to make part of the house into a separate residential unit, you can get up to €30k extra. If it’s just an extra door, additional water connections, etc., that can definitely be very worthwhile?

Yes, yes, for individual measures there is now 20%, but you can get the same amount as a tax reduction without KfW. And even better, through the tax you can get 20% of a max. €200,000, so €40,000. Without the annoying energy consultant! KfW can't do that.
Of course, you can do the first €50,000 through KfW, the rest through the tax.

Everything can be read in the law "Tax reduction for energetic measures in buildings used for own residential purposes"

I will start a separate thread about this at some point.
