After 1 year, our framework conditions have improved positively, and we also have better/more data regarding expenses (rounded up with a buffer). Especially for food/hygiene items and daycare, costs will noticeably decrease (no more diapers, over 3 years old, etc.). However, I would continue to keep it accounted for, as other costs will certainly arise for a growing child instead.
Me: ~3000 3200 € + 200 € (monthly bonus)
Her:~1000 at least 1200+ € (part-time)
Annual bonus & Christmas bonus I leave aside ~4000 €.
Affordable wedding planned (costs negligible), should possibly help us tax-wise?
Income now at4342 ~ 4800 € (including child benefit)
Monthly expenses (excluding warm rent): ~1800 €/month
We have now saved ~130,000 170,000 €. We are doing very well here/price sensitive. We are currently managing to save about ~20,000 € per year without "pain," meaning we feel comfortable. However, we forego "international" vacations without sense and reason. Beyond that, the stock market has helped somewhat.
What is your experience regarding costs for furnishing & co. for a condominium? I am calculating here with 15,000 €. (kitchen, partly new furniture) – should fit, right…?
Would you dare to buy a property with the above data if you are looking at a repayment period of ~25 years?
Have I forgotten something – any logical errors somewhere – important items overlooked?
I think a rate up to max. 1300 € + additional costs (~500 Euros) should be manageable without us feeling like we are in a straitjacket & still having amenities included. Compared to the current rent of 1000 € warm, it is of course a noticeable cost increase.
I just can't get out of the "scaredy-cat" faction.
