Is financing feasible or are we overextending ourselves?

Well, I don't want to get lost in details like the type of concrete for the terrace right now. For me, it’s enough to know that I can stay under 2k if I'm economical and end up around 4k if I choose slightly nicer stones. I'm currently planning with 2500 for this item and then we'll see.

Can anyone estimate how much can be saved on the electrical work? We would definitely do the milling and laying of cables ourselves. We have about 100 sockets planned, living room / office / 3* kids' rooms with network sockets, satellite and telephone sockets. No smart home or similar gimmicks. But I can't estimate the time a professional would need.

Thanks for the input so far. That really helps! Even the critical voices!

Expensive prices with you, mineral concrete with us costs 22 € per ton plus VAT, gravel 22 € plus VAT only the premium gravel is expensive and if you don't use granite you don't need it. I mixed curbstones on site in the concrete bucket with screed concrete from the b1 hardware store for 1.69.

here I have to check what is asked in East Saxony ^^ The info about which area we are building in might be quite interesting to estimate income and construction costs. I might have mentioned that earlier.

Yes, prices for such raw materials vary quite a bit regionally, my building materials dealer is more like a pharmacist. But that's not going to be the deciding factor, he has a rough idea.

For your electrical work, I would roughly estimate 5k for materials, 5k for labor, so you save that then.

ok I currently have 15k in the estimate. So there is definitely still some leeway. Thanks!

Trass cement plus sand plus water. Cheap and much faster.
We laid tiles, so it needed an appropriate substructure.
Yes, a mixer is enough for a few curbs. If you don’t have one anyway or would have to buy/rent it, I would do it by hand as well.
