Is financing feasible or are we overextending ourselves?

Why don't you really deserve so much "help"? Because - you already think you know everything better or only provide information about what you've already clarified when asked (most recently that rails are included with the tiles) - you supposedly have been reading along for a long time but wonder how the thread is going - your continuous "then stay away from the thread" whenever someone writes something against you slowly starts to seem a bit arrogant - most of the answers obviously don't interest you if they don't fit your plan - but in return you yourself don't provide any answers, for example on the repeatedly touched topic of how to handle possible salary losses due to a second child, to come back to the original question For me as a conclusion: it's doable, but if you use the same tone on the construction site as here, I wouldn't be surprised if things go wrong. Oh yes, and about doable: nothing is allowed to go wrong, but you probably don't need to be told that since you either already know it yourself or will ignore it if necessary

This is the attitude towards spending money

As a former moderator, I can only say that subsequent changes only confuse things even more and disrupt the discussion.

As far as I remember, the Worrier gave you some good tips. Now he is one of those who criticize you and your approach, and suddenly he is hurt. Like everyone here who criticizes you. To me, this thread reads backwards: Is it because the enthusiasm grows hour by hour as more people have doubts? You conceal or ignore the calculation criticism; instead, you get worked up about the things that can work. Also a method – filtering criticism so it fits.

You wanted an answer, and you got one. Even though I was not the person addressed, I actually thought it was pointless for me to type here to point out any gaps in the tile offer (which you yourself asked about!). Good luck with your project and please remind me if you bring up new topics, that I did not want to invest any more time in you.

I only skimmed through it. But everything is way too rosy, yet in the end there will be a house standing. I'm sure of that. But why the hell is the tiler being discussed in such detail when the entire house construction is still undecided??

Anyway, from similar threads I know that for plans and projects like this only confirmation is sought. If no confirmation comes, the thread creators withdraw. The rest is ignored or argued away.

I’m sorry, but I am not an expert. I answer all questions to the best of my knowledge and belief. I don’t ignore criticism but take it with me, especially regarding the calculation. I have written several times that I take it on board, go through it again, and share results. But that doesn’t happen within 12 hours. Sometimes it takes a few days. So why should I dwell on it if I don’t have any new information yet?

Since I’m not an expert, I can hardly assess which information is relevant to you and which is not. I had written that the tiler is tiling the listed rooms and bathroom with a floor-level shower. From my understanding, everything relevant was included.

I have said from the beginning that negative criticism is also good. But let’s stay fair. Buzzwords like nonsense thread, ridiculous, fake thread, etc. have nothing to do with reasonable discussion culture. And yes, those who can’t discuss otherwise are welcome to stay away. That this is so surprising to some does surprise me a lot.

I am very grateful to everyone who has helped me here but realize that the thread has gotten so lost and out of hand that it is hardly possible to bring any order here. Sorry for that. Here, I probably gave too few details from the start out of ignorance.

Best regards.
