Is building in Bavaria still possible for 500k?

@all

I didn't just want to throw Town & Country into the ring, but you can first check prices on their homepage, which many others usually don't have.

I have Heinz von Heiden and with brick, instead of Town & Country with Ytong.

Not only in 2018, but also at the end of 2020. You can of course upgrade the Daikin heat pump, and I suppose your neighbor did that. That would have been a good 8000€ back then.

In my impression, there are many who sugarcoat their price by leaving out two trades, but that is definitely not standard. Even if these providers would of course like to give the impression that it is ;)
And sure, you can assign that yourself, but then you have the hassle of coordinating a craftsman accordingly and letting him in. But we didn’t want that after a good three quarters of an hour to the construction site. I also had the floors itemized with our general contractor once, I don’t save much by awarding separately. Especially not if you have to go to the construction site 5 more times.

Little things I still remember (it’s been almost 1.5 years since I read the construction service description) were roof overhangs, disposal, boarding the attic.

"Individually" in the marketing sense means everything that is not at most a not significantly changed catalog house. So even run-of-the-mill, if it was freely planned. That's the same story with a solid construction (but not everyone can have read all my posts). Just imagine how much it annoys the general contractor (wood as well as stone) when the builders want to outsource the finishing package (and expect to be provided with a bible-thick package of interface documentation).

We built with Town & Country. It was exhausting. But at least the shoddy work was fixed for us, unlike many other sympathetic builders. Would do it again. Town & Country saved me a lot of money compared to other providers. KFW55 plus 115k plot for 320k including garden, kitchen, etc., it's become a very cool place! You just can't let things be done without care, you have to take care of it.

Unfortunately, the exterior wall is also difficult in solid construction if insulation has been added. And in the bathroom, it's often difficult for the washbasin as well if a pre-wall installation has been made. You need that if you want the mirror cabinet inside the wall and not mounted on it.

We have no pre-wall installation for the washbasin in the bathroom. The pipes are sound-insulated and installed in the 17.5 cm wall. Exterior walls also have no insulation. Only 36.5 cm Poroton + exterior plaster.
