Compared to which plan status that should be an advantage – probably compared to the one in #43 (?) – if I’m right, there is public ground on the left side of the plan, and if not necessarily fenced, a triangle next to the carport would also be accessible, so that not only to avoid a dirty corner, it wouldn’t have to be nestled at an angle against the boundary (?)

Unfortunately, I can’t follow you. The goal is to bring the western sun into the house and onto the property. In #43 the carport is at the best spot of the entire property and takes away the house’s best side. So it should be removed from there. That was initially the only goal. And yes, that is a huge advantage if the rest can also be arranged accordingly.
