20€ per hour is – if it is not undeclared work – the maximum that can be charged by a hobby painter running a secondary business.

Undeclared work is a bad word! 20 euros for a painter is about right, African, and normally you don't need a warranty for painters.

I can only agree with that. It often happens that HilfeHilfe provokes other users and/or adds their two cents even when it generates 0.0 added value. Quite the opposite, it rather shifts the mood of the post into the negative...

@on the topic
For us, with a household income of ~4,200€ net, about ~1,200€ remain monthly, so roughly around 30% (4-person household). A good portion of this money is invested in the outdoor facilities, vacations are taken, and reserves are built up to be prepared for repairs for the car, etc.
