I don't find the basement for 40k overly expensive. 5000 for surveying completely? You can easily get two vanity units for that. Also, the flooring options are very limited, and nicer tiles cost a lot for 180sqm. If you don't take the standard 30x30 ones, the installation costs also go up.
Hmm, 30x60 would be nice. They also have them as standard at Finger. How do the installation costs change there?
I repeat myself: "And plus-energy... read up a bit on energy trickery, then you could quickly change your target." KfW values have nothing to do with your actual consumption, even if it is often presented that way. The measures to achieve the standard can certainly cost more than you will ever save on heating costs.
I should do that, true. Thank God I have half a week off
I really thought so far that KFW 55 means the house only has 55% of the heating costs of a normal Energy Saving Ordinance 16 house.
I don't think a double garage for 15k is feasible nowadays. Even if the prefab part itself is just about in that range, you still need a foundation underneath, drainage must be planned and electricity installed. In 10 years you might need to charge your e-car there.
Then maybe just a garden shed for the lawn mower and an open parking space for the car for now?^^
I hadn't even thought about electricity and drainage... I'll just raid OBI, steal paving stones and then sit down and build a garage myself
Then only KNX and letting go of demolition + cheaper plot remain. That's 75k€ less, then 180sqm also works. If more things like venetian blinds or large-format tiles are added, you're immediately over budget.
Better than KfW 55 it won't be
With KNX, you can retrofit the components. We don't want to do everything at once anyway. And the photovoltaic system could possibly come later, too.
And the more support I get with my idea of 160sqm, the better I feel about it
I don't want 180sqm anyway. And when the time comes to plan the house, hopefully my fiancé will quickly see that too.
EDIT: Slowly I also understand what my in-laws meant when they said "the wishes and the realities gradually come closer together and eventually you have the house. Somewhere in the middle."
Slowly I see the middle flashing on the horizon
