Unless it is an unattractive location, I would be surprised if all the plots are not gone within a very short time. Anyone who speculates on falling prices here can wait a very long time for that.

Since two major employers with IG Metall and IG Chemie collective bargaining agreements are nearby, there will probably still be enough interest despite the enormous price increase. However, those who do not live on one of these islands of the blissful will have a hard time. At that point, the child building grant doesn't help much anymore. The municipality has planned a "safety buffer" of 10% in the price for unforeseen additional costs (which will not be refunded if not incurred). This already raises the suspicion that corona-related revenue losses in trade tax are currently being passed on to home builders...

This is not reprehensible in itself. No one is forced to buy. Whether the municipality thereby fully meets its social responsibility is another matter.
