All right. Long-distance shots are practically impossible here, but you can piece together details:
Our house before renovation (first three photos) and after the window builder and facade builder (below) were gone (bottom right):

I had to tackle the upper facade myself:

The window sizes were partially changed, the "shed" with the arched windows below was demolished and a new outer wall was built where the front door was also installed. Unfortunately, you can’t see the new outside stairs now; I can’t step back more than 4 m from the house, which is a bit awkward for photographing.
At the top left, instead of proper exterior walls there was only a wooden shed, it used to be a balcony. There too, everything except the bare wooden posts was torn down and the wall was completely rebuilt.

This is the south side, you have to imagine the rest similarly.

What do I mean by "Verschlag"? This is what it looked like behind the facade before:

and this is what it looked like after I finished insulating:

The grid is there to prevent someone from having to remove several dead mice and a wasp nest the size of a square meter from the facade again.

And this is the view from the upper south window all the way to the left:

The reason why I can't step back to take the photo is that it goes several meters downhill. A south-facing slope! And the best part: no one can look into my windows.

House has 200 sqm with laundry room and conservatory in the extension – for 2 people, no basement, two garages, 700 sqm of land. Bought in 2012 for 139,000 euros, lived in for 3.5 years, renovation ongoing for the same amount of time (complete renovation 62k euros to KfW Efficiency House 100), photovoltaic system. 25 km from Wiesbaden.

The hammer!

What you can do with love, dedication, and a sense of purpose. Wow.

Additionally:
The view: Honestly........ just impressively beautiful. Generally in a great location ([Wiesbaden]). Quick to [FFM], quick to the Ruhr area, quick to [Basel], [AB], [Würzburg] or southern Germany..... .

Plus the price purchase + renovation for this result. Great. Can price/performance be topped here? Probably rarely. You invested very purposefully and sensibly. I like that - you don’t have to waste money.

Everything is great.
And finally, again, house pictures!
