We even already have a building permit - however, for the old floor plan with the living room on the ground floor.

As described above, we have started rethinking whether we really want to realize it that way.

Since in the floor plan listed above the exterior walls remain unchanged, the living space does not increase, and at first glance no additional cost drivers appear, the costs should remain in the same range.

: We would be happy if you could say something about the new floor plan. You already had some good tips and a clear opinion before.

For the ground floor (sleeping area), we have now developed two different variants that offer a bit more privacy - all doors here lead from the staircase landing into the living area below.

We would be interested to know which of the two floor plans you prefer or what you would change. (The garden is located to the southeast at the bottom of the plan)

I won't say anything about the total copies, but don't you yourself notice that you can hardly use your guest rooms with the intended furnishing (room width of < 270), you build in many corners everywhere, the positioning of most cabinets creates a bottleneck, but also in the hallways, your sofas barely represent larger armchairs. Elsewhere, on the other hand, you have room to dance where it is not needed at all. It is all arbitrary, isn't it? I am glad that you are now talking to an architect. Please don't show him your drawings, but only a written room program so that he is not biased. Who handled your cost planning and building permit application?

You seem to tend to increasingly nest every further division attempt within each frame of external dimensions.
