That is of course annoying. Although I don’t consider that universally valid. For many other builders (and also for us), a gas condensing boiler with controlled residential ventilation worked perfectly.
True. I keep wondering about that too..
I built the house exactly as stated in the assembly instructions. And it works much better than calculated. Even though I followed the 80% method during construction: 80% is enough, the other 20% only costs money, time & energy.... haha.
The energy consultant (who I needed here in NRW) comes to the same conclusion with the house – it’s close to KFW55.
I suspect the manufacturer company calculated way too conservatively, which made it seem like you need a catastrophic investment.....
I guess it’s owed to the principle of building a house and tolerances.... I suppose.
The ST would – I learned some basic math professionally and have forgotten very little – absolutely not necessary in reality.
Now I won’t get any more upset. 4.5 sqm (almost 5) of valuable (haha) roof tiles are super protected against weather influences. The thing is just there. You can look at the numbers..... try to be happy somehow..... and talk yourself into the pointless.
Since I have the photovoltaic system, I have become the eco guru in the Gäu here anyway; everyone rings the doorbell wanting coffee and some knowledge.... (two now have a photovoltaic system .... they were smart and had delicious coffee, the others declined the investment in ST, they wanted to retrofit and are now spending the money on the garden and such).
The – completely unimportant and pointless – increase in my popularity and Jesus sandal-eco status in the neighborhood by arming this tiny hut with collectors on the roof until the boards crack...... well, I honestly have to chuckle hard right now....
Best regards
