But it doesn’t - as I said, it doesn’t contribute anything useful at all. Except cost money.
You can build things (also a photovoltaic system) that maybe cost more than they bring, but they still bring something.
This ST zero-negative-slider thing is slowly driving me crazy in my place here..........underground s****.
Half of my utility room is full of a hot water storage tank the size of half a swimming pool. It was expensive. Takes up space. High losses due to size (maintenance energy). The whole installation. The costs.
Honestly: I had to install it.
But when I see what the device brings, it’s the biggest bad investment I have ever made/had to make.
I also know other builders who have such nonsense on their roofs......all just as enthusiastic in "" as I am. They even have it facing pure south, I have it east. But one must not believe it works significantly better that way......
Well, at least you can enjoy a free warm shower in the evening during midsummer at 40 degrees.
Why didn’t you consider controlled residential ventilation, special electricity tariffs, more insulation, or photovoltaic? We also have an east/west gable roof -> but I never wanted to put an ST on the roof. I kept the option of better insulation for emergencies.
