Which groceries require that a window is constantly open? There are countless people who built without a basement, and I'm sure none of them keep a window open all the time. That's not a good idea in winter, no matter what you heat with. We have a storage room where the heating is turned down, but since it is near the living area, it is practically as warm as everywhere else. We have no problems with spoiling food. Anything that needs to be refrigerated goes into the fridge.Should I just let my groceries spoil? Sorry, but we don't have a basement. Feel free to tell me how I can do it better / correctly.
