We already have one, but it is connected to the underfloor heating just the same, because according to the architect we don’t need anything else… don’t ask. A lot has gone wrong here thanks to our great architect…

Logically, how should it get 24 degrees warm in the bathroom with a supply temperature of 30 degrees? But many certainly have this problem not only in the bathroom but throughout the whole house.

For health reasons, I don't want underfloor heating throughout the entire house. I don't like the living climate it creates. There's nothing better than a nice warm radiator where you can even sit on when you're feeling chilly. But which owner of a new single-family house with a heat pump and underfloor heating is actually ever chilly? That just doesn't happen.

And the owners of wood stoves are environmental polluters. Sure!

Well, I have such a kitchen wood stove in my kitchen. In winter, it's often around 26 - 27 degrees in there. Nice when I come in freezing cold from skiing or shoveling snow. The food is on the stove and it's super cozy.

As I have already written here, I still own an oil heating system from 1992. Don't worry, it was only installed in 2012 and has been running smoothly ever since. It's a solid cast iron boiler. I bought it used back then for 14 euros! With everything included.
The previous owner installed a heat pump. Never mind.

Since Habeck's heating mania, I've been looking for an identical heating system. Finally, I found it the day before yesterday. Exactly the same heater, same model, same year. It's supposed to cost 200 euros. And I'll set it up. When my old one breaks down someday, the replacement heating system will go in. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the heater. Low consumption, temperature-controlled, and I can do the maintenance myself. Annual cleaning, changing the oil nozzle and oil filter I can manage just fine. And without skimping and with a properly warm house, I consume 1000 liters of heating oil per year.

I assume that I am now heating-wise provided for until the end of my life. I have wood stored dry for the next 10 - 15 years, heating oil is still affordable, well, and if worst comes to worst, I actually still have a few old oil radiators in the barn.

We have done without the towel radiator and manage perfectly fine. I also don't understand what you all do in the bathroom that it needs to be 24 degrees. You don't stand around naked forever, but dry yourself off and get dressed?

No one will really know how their (Netzbezug) electricity was produced or do you believe that your neighbor receives coal power and you get it from the wind turbine?

So, 20 years ago people were able to fully heat the bathroom with the air heat pump. Today, when probably every heating installer has to install heat pumps, this seems to be a problem.

This is going to be a pointless discussion now… One drives a Skoda, the other a Porsche. One thinks 75m2 is plenty, the other finds 200 m2 small… And we just like it warm in the bathroom.

The discussion is not pointless. You cannot heat a house in completely different ways, as the exterior walls insulate much better than the interior walls. You want it particularly warm, but complain about the heating costs. Certainly, a lot was botched in the system and it is also unnecessarily complex (which promotes all the botching). But a larger part of the problems is also attributable to the user here. However, of course, only the architect is to blame ;)
