Okay, here are just my thoughts (there will certainly be much more well-founded ones to come): - Entrance: I have concerns about the lighting, there is virtually no daylight. I find that difficult. Therefore, I would leave the passage to the cloakroom completely open so that the window can also have an effect on the hallway. - I find the arrangement of the sanitary facilities on the ground floor somewhat awkward, presumably the shower should not be by the window, right? I would reconsider that. - The walking route from the dining room to the living room would be too narrow for me. And, as you say, not entirely safe with a small child. Could the fireplace perhaps be placed in the more or less dead corner to the left of the current location? That’s where I would rather see it. - The master bedroom could become quite tight with the door opening inward; how would you want to arrange your furniture there? I would sketch that out and simulate whether that is enough space for you. The walk-in closet as a dead-end is a matter of taste, however, it would actually be more practical if the walk-in closet were a through room so that one person does not disturb the other when getting up and looking for clothes. - The bathroom upstairs is awkwardly arranged. If you need to use the toilet at night, sooner or later you always bump into the edge of the bathtub and/or the washbasin – maybe swap the toilet and the bathtub?
