Yvonne I have a cabin from the company. It is a small one that I only had to rework in three places. Those were the windows in the doors where I applied silicone because they were rattling, the door had to be adjusted a bit, and I properly torched the roof with roofing felt because the one that came with it flew away in the wind. I assembled the thing alone and without any craft knowledge; the instructions were very understandable. In the end, my girlfriend painted the thing and that was it. For the price, I think the thing is good; I have seen worse. A floor was included as well. Exactly, that’s it. If I buy the wood myself, it also doesn’t come cheaper in total.

Why do people actually call such a cabin a "thing"? [emoji23][emoji16]
I also caught myself constantly writing "thing"... I think it was #17 where I kept correcting myself...

Well, which company do you mean?

I estimate about 30%. However, I would rather use building it myself to optimize the layout and quality, instead of just focusing on the price.

Hello

Processing is surprisingly easy.
A plunge circular saw with a guide rail and a saw blade for HPL.
Otherwise, it is processed like wood.

I also think that a self-build with significantly better quality is possible at only slightly higher costs. With the small and awkward doors installed in most huts, I already get a crisis.

Yeah. I cut them all with a plunge circular saw, but OSB can be cut with a jigsaw in a pinch. Drilling without a drill press is hardly possible either. Therefore, the processing is rather more complicated for the average person than OSB...
