This is also one of the endangered domestic animal breeds that would disappear without hobby breeders. I had never heard of their existence before. I can only imagine that if they show up somewhere, the other chickens look down at their legs and think, hopefully mine never look like that :)

Oh yes, it is somewhat sad for them - although they are said to be very tame as well. That is what it says on Wiki and co.

What kind of chickens are those that lay blue eggs?
