It seems to me that you have bigger problems than just a 2-month delay. For me, the windows were ordered at the end of April and arrived at the end of July. If you haven't ordered them yet, it won't happen this year and probably not in January either. At this point, I would also urgently ask the construction manager why the roof had to be covered before the windows could be ordered.

I think it depends. We inquired with the manufacturer ourselves two weeks ago and they said it currently takes them 7-8 weeks. Because of Christmas, it’s going to be tight for us now, we haven't ordered yet.
