Well, what would be against enlarging or bricking it up? A few stones in, done. Or you just cut the opening bigger. Structurally it’s not an issue, the lintel above the window is there anyway. So let’s not pretend it’s an insane effort.

But both options are just bad because a shower room without a window sucks and a shower right in front of a floor-to-ceiling window is just as bad...
